Spring Concert Announced for Saturday May 8th, 2010
It is the 5th anniversary of the Austin Mandolin Orchestra. We are celebrating with an ambitious spring concert featuring the premiere of Las Alas Derretidas, a new work for mandolin orchestra by AMO Director, Joel Hobbs. Our program features Bach, Brazilian, Basin Street and Beyond.
Joining us for the evening, we have two very special guest artists, Paul Glasse and Bret Boyer. We hope to see you at Casa de Luz at 1701 Toomey Road on Saturday May 8th at 7:30pm! $3-$9 sliding scale donation accepted at the door
Austin Mandolin Orchestra is a community orchestra based in Austin and serving central Texas. The orchestra was formed in 2004 and includes over 20 members playing mandolin family instruments - mandolin, mandola, and mandocello.
