Austin Mandolin Orchestra is a community orchestra based in Austin and serving central Texas. The orchestra was formed in 2004 and includes over 20 members playing mandolin family instruments - mandolin, mandola, and mandocello.
2009 Season Begins
The orchestra finished 2008 with performances at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center and the Austin Farmers Market. Rehearsals have begun for the 2009 season. Rehearsals are held on the first and third Wednesdays of the month.
